Overview
Currently, human trafficking, especially trafficking in women and children and irregular migration is a global problem and appears to be on an increase internationally despite international and national efforts. To combat human trafficking is not only responsibility of a country or a region but is also a common coordinated effort of the world. In Vietnam, human trafficking, especially trafficking in women and children is a new phenomena arising during the last decade; however, the diversity and complexity as well as the devastating impacts for victims, their family and society of this crime has caught a special attention and a profound concern of the government and the community. read more
